Ammy has had a great week! She has enjoyed being able to come home and visit on the weekends, but really enjoys coming back. She has become extremely spoiled by all of the nurses so who wouldn't want to come back! The picture on the left is of the monster bread she made with her thrapist. It is just normal bread dough and then Ammy dyed the dough with food coloring and then baked it. She had so much fun. She is enjoying all of her therapy and is really beginning to master so many of the skills she has developed over the last month. She is standing by herself for more than 20 seconds. She is also enjoying taking steps all on her own. She is still a bit shaky and working on balance but is doing really well. She is excited to settle in back at home and get back to school. I also am excited to settle back in and get back to school. I am taking 3 online courses this term so that i can stay in school but have a more flexible schedule when it comes to getting to all of Ammy's appointments and such. Sorry I did not get a chance to tell everyone about Ammy's weekend adventures, but i added a few pictures of her playing cards with her grandma and games with the neighborhood friends.
For all of you who were asking for the details of Ammy's fundraiser tomorrow here's the scoop!
The place is Papa's pizza parlour located at 15700 NW Blueridge dr Beaverton Or 97006. The email address is www.papaspizza.net. When at this website go to the bottom of the page and click on the link for the address above. There will be a place to print out a flyer at the bottom of the page print this and go to papa's anytime tomorrow. Anyone showing the flyer tomorrow will be able to donate 50% of what they spend to ammy. This money will go into an account my cousin Alyse set up to help pay for the many expenses that are adding up, such as a wheelchair for Ammy leg braces, a walker, as well as the daily expenses that pile up since i havent been able to work or go to school. Thank you all so much for the many ways you have helped I really appreciate you all.
